Inkjet printers are junk and have always been junk. They were junk the day they got put on a store shelf. They’re not gonna age like a fine wine

I guarantee that he knew this very well going in, which only adds to the WHYYYY

Let it never be said that the man does not care about the history

Canon called its inkjet technology “Bubble Jet,” which meant that back in the day their model numbers for those printers all started with BJ, which made me laugh because deep down I will always be 12 years old

It’s the 1990s. You are headed down to CompUSA to get yourself a BJ

I finally bought a decent laser printer last year and it's been a revelation how much better/easier it is to use

@Jason Lefkowitz If you don't remember them, you don't realize how terrible they were. Probably like buying a cassette player or turn table in their mind lol

I used to have one of those! And yeah, printers have not gotten better since either.

The eternal suffering of inkjet printer interactions, unabated.

I must say the scanning cartridge is pretty neat, though. I have had my hands in a lot of old printers and had somehow never even heard of such a thing.
