I may have posted this before, but here we go again.
I don't mean to be sexist or anything, but....our girl cats are always smarter than our boy cats. This remains true for our kitten. Just barely a year old and already out-thinking her older brothers on a regular basis.

in reply to Morgan π:autism:(they/them) • •Ya, I can't stereotype cats that way because of experience with the ferals over here. They tend to run in polyamorous mini-tribes (prides?) and the latest rendition is this one tribe comprised of one pregnant gal and 2 guys who appear to be gay. When nobody's in heat, the two boys get affectionate with each other. When the one gal is in heat, it's clear which of the two is the daddy because she'll nuzzle with him but for a time would hiss at his guy pal...but not for long.
She killed a squirrel, ate first, and the two boys took the leftovers while she lounged and supervised. As big with kittens as she is, she showed prowess that made her the leader of that particular pack, and she didn't mind the presence of both of 'em. I wonder how things will be when she delivers.
