When does my brain allows me to call myself a runner? When those training runs are done regardless of weather. 60°F and raining was worth it but not fun though, despite the smile. #running #fitness
Excluding competitive running, running is such a personal sport. One where we measure ourselves against ourselves. As we keep track of our time & distance we also notice weather effects. In Arizona I could see directly how hot weather slowed me down. Remain calm and keep running @Hank G ☑️! Cheers, -Randy
I’m reminded of a set I did some time ago. The challenge was to keep my heart rate within a specific band. It was a hot and humid day; my pace steadily dropped as the time ticked down.
Then there was a brief shower; there was a short but very noticeable bump in my pace while it happened.
