In the movie Brewster's Millions, Richard Pryor's character has to blow millions within a month. One of his tricks is to run a gubernatorial campaign advocating people vote "None of the above". Truth is stranger than fiction. #uspoli #republican

She lost big time to a candidate named "Nonna Deez".
She should be ashamed.

Except "None of these candidates" option has been a thing in Nevada since the 1970s (it was added after Watergate).

But when was the last time that category won the primary?

2014 -- see the attached screenshot from an article that appeared just today in the Reno Gazette-Journal...

I'm finding it hard to enjoy, spoof, or otherwise cast aspersions on the GOPer race. Why?:

  • Biden is not popular.
  • John Kerry is his campaign manager.
  • Biden is being contested for the nomination by 25 other candidates. Previously unheard of.
  • GOPers appear to have more total votes in their primary than Dems in theirs.

The number of votes in the primary is never indicative of anything. I don't get making Kerry his campaign manager. He failed in getting his own campaign across the finish line in 2004.

@Hank G ☑️: I was certain you were going to say that, but you should know that the following have also not happened in recent history, and not ever together:
* An incumbent running in the primary against a full slate.
* An incumbent passing on the nation's first primary.
* An incumbent bogged down in a foreign nation's (Israel's) unpopular war.
