I played a psych game for my 9 mile long run, longest I’ve run since early November and near the highs I haven’t run in a decade. To compel me to stay in Zone 2, fat burning zone, I went out well hydrated but fasted on an out and back run path. I pretty much nailed Zone 2 except the penultimate mile that I intentionally ran way faster. I felt strong the whole way and had plenty left in the tank. The estimated VO2max keeps going up too. I’m very stoked about how well this experiment went and how my training the last month has unfolded. #running #training #Zone2Training #fitness

jealous you were able to maintain that pace for so long. Unless I'm going uphill, my legs have a mind of their own and will settle around the mid to high 8's unless I constantly monitor my watch.
