I don't know what is going on with Linux getting above 4% earlier this year and keeping going, but I like it. I thought it was Steam or ChromeOS, but according to their data it is not. Let's keep on trucking! #linux https://www.gamingonlinux.com/2024/04/linux-continues-to-be-above-4-on-the-desktop/

According to the StatCounter, Linux on the desktop has continued to rise and remains above 4%, with this being the healthiest it's ever looked on the desktop.Liam Dawe (GamingOnLinux)

The current CEO of Microsoft Satya Narayana pretty much hates supporting the consumer market, and wants to make Xbox streaming only as SaaS too. They even allegedly spoke to Sony about selling Xbox to them.
It seems like Microsoft is about to make being a Windows user very expensive and uncomfortable.

I suspect with W10 dying, there will be a small, but significant migration.
