Question for people who speak #Spanish. I've recently come to understand how #language influences #culture and #perception and even what you can think. I've been learning Spanish & something interesting I've noticed is how parts of the body are not referred to as "the" instead of "mine" or "yours" like they are in English. Me duele la cabeza - the head hurts me, instead of my head hurts. What does that imply if anything? More #spiritual focused maybe?

Does not imply anything. It just is.
"Me duele la cabeza" is correct. Mi cabeza (mine) would be obvious and redundant. Of course its yours, else it wouldn't hurt you.
