The law: jurors can acquit defendants based on their own conscience
We must judge both the law and the facts presented in court.
All my hopes are with retired social worker Trudi Warner today as she potentially faces trial leading to 2 yrs in prison for standing outside of the courts holding a sign that literally quotes what is featured inside the courthouse: that jurors can acquit defendants based on their own conscience.Otherwise what exactly is the point of jury made up of private citizens.
She is represented by The Good Law Project and again I say if you have pennies to spare, they are solely funded by donations.
