Impeaching Alito and Thomas would require Conviction by the Senate: After the House impeaches the justice, the Senate holds a trial. To convict and remove the justice from office, a two-thirds majority vote is required in the Senate. This means at least 67 out of 100 Senators must vote to convict.
We will be lucky to hold the Senate this election, let alone reach those levels. Let’s keep it real, folks. Justice is going to take awhile. A long while.
