Netanyahu's objective is "do whatever it takes to keep the war going, because otherwise I'm going to jail". (He is not personally in the "end of the world" or "biblical Israel" factions, but he has to do what they say to keep their support, so it makes no practical difference.) This will cause regional war.
These objectives really are in conflict. The protests may sharpen things but the conflict was there all along.
