Although I'm otherwise very much in favour of participatory processes in urban development, I take a slightly different view when it comes to mobility.
In combination with "pilot projects", this often leads to opponents mobilising strongly in the hope of being able to reverse the measure.
In Copenhagen, for example, car parking spaces were simply abolished piece by piece without making a big fuss about it.

@stehgeiger I love that idea. When I go visit EU I love walking everywhere.
