...I'm failing miserably at this Fox News verdict coverage Zen exercise. I can't help but be reactive to the their coverage and fun house mirrors reality angle of it all...

fox is shamless in its willingness to broadcast lies. Disinformation will continue to increase for the #2024election.

It's literally impossible to contend with all the stupid. These propagandists won't stop. It's about volume. Every second of every day, it will be some new conspiracy theory.

It has very Baghdad Bob feel. But most of their viewers buy it hook line and sinker.

Heh. You do you and all that standard disclaimer stuff.

I'll stick to more interesting pain challenges like eating spicy food. ❤ :)

A few years ago I was on our power-walk with some co-workers. One in particular leaned into conspiracy a fair bit. He was bemoaning the "MSM" (really, what does that mean? Nothing really! Cite your sources rather than throw out meaningless slurs) by claiming CNN, MSNBC and FoxNews were all about the same just different in bias. So I said, let's test that. My claim is if we pick 30 minutes for each on some random night then keep tally of the number of logical fallacies one would see FoxNews is actually worse than the other two. So three of us did that. I let me friend pick the program we'd watch. For FoxNews it was Sean Hannity. I put the 30 minute timer on using our microwave and proceeded to watch. I found it nearly more than I could stand to listen to. I don't how many times Hannity would would call out President Obama's name as "Barack Hussein Obama"

So, I must say I'm pretty happy to maintain my zero cable news consumption. So... good luck with the watch... hopefully not too painful...

Cheers, -Randy
