Today was the first day I looked at an American flag and felt proud in several years.

It reminded me of the power we still have a grasp on.
I never mistrusted the jurors, just the system to protect them. And that scared me for the outcome. And I’m sure they’ve been thinking about all that a lot, and yet they stood tall and string and gave the 34 counts their unanimous verdict of guilty because, I want to believe, they chose to support the parts of our system that can do good.
And they did reeeeal good.

Same. I'm sick of looking at it and being pissed that we've let the MAGA GOP co-opt it as their political symbol. The rest of us need to take it back to being a symbol for all.
