@thepoliticalcat Well first off, most "communist" nations were forced into Stalimism be cause the capitalist nations refused to trade with them and the soviet union was their only other option. Democratically elected Communist Chile was violently overthrown with US backing, and respected replaced with pseudo fascist butcher Pinochet. Vietnam was banned from trading with the world for 12 years because they dared invade Cambodia and overthrow that psycho Pol Pot who was Chinas ally and the US was mad at Vietnam for not falling to capitalism against their will, so they worked with China to blockade them. Its only after they agreed to some parts of capitalism that they finally were able to become a nation that can survive in this dog eat dog world. Cuba was also unable to trade with the rest of the world for decades and is still better off than Haiti. Laos was part of the Vietnamese blockade as well. Those were the only nations to not have to be subject to Stalinism. There has never been a successful communist nation because capitalists would prefer a fascist in power over a democratically elected head of state like Patrice Lumumu which we helped kidnap and kill, and replaced with the psycho butcher Mbuto Sese Seko.

Its like how there has been no successful anarchist nations because the liberals and monarchists mowed everyone down after by street in the Paris commune and communists destroyed the catalonian and Ukrainian anarchist collectives.
Georgia was a menchivick socialist republic but Lenin invaded them because he had to have a monopoly on the concept.

Also the only nations to try communism had near zero infrastructure. Peasant Russia, Feudal China and many other former colonized regions. No industrialized nation ever became communist which is what Marx believed would happen. A century of capitalism was required to build up physical and mental infrastructure to then have the workers rise up.

As most communist nations were dictatorships because Stalin required it, all data shows that if you HAVE to live in a dictatorship, a communist dictatorship is WAY better than a capitalist one. The soviet union went from dirt farmers to the first in space in a span of 40 years which was the ONLY thing that lit a fire under our asses to go to space.

If you throw out every concept because the person who created it was racist or sexist your level of knowledge is going to be tiny. The creators of liberalism were sexist and racist as hell and even owned people. Therefore we should eliminate liberalism as it too hasn't fixed sexism or racism and go back to monarchism? Because that was the last time we didn't have skin based racism? Seems like a really bad argument as literally all political thinkers were.

Women never got full equality/representation but they sure got way more under communism than they ever did under capitalism. In fact in a review of the sexual satisfaction of women in the communist nations they had a much higher sexual satisfaction than under capitalism because they didn't have to choose their sexual partners based on their income. They could actually marry for love or other non-financial perks.

As for representation of POC, Troskey and Stalin especially worked hard to make sure that all their minority groups had some outsized governmental input(One of the few good things Stalin actually did). In fact they based their government structure on the Us government, just with double representative democracy which people who were voted for went and voted for the all powerful bureaucrats, as the average soviet had a max of a 4th grade education at the time, which was supposed to be temporary but those all powerful bureaucrats then changed things so they go to choose who you got to vote for. Their house of representatives were the Duma while their senate was made up of all the different minority ethnic groups and it had to pass both houses. I believe China has a similar system, though apparently you can get sellouts to become the only representatives to harass your people like the the Uyghers and the Tibetans.
