Not for nothing, I feel like the word "fascist" for today's bad guys is often a bit overused and not quite on the mark.

They're interested in staying rich, controlling people, controlling labor, but they don't *need* to do something as radical as ACTUALLY TRANSFORM GOVERNMENT to get there.
The "fascism" you're seeing is more to muddle and create hopelessness, like in eg. Russia. It's BAD, but get the motivation right.
