But they can't. Governments fully drank the Kool-Aid when they chose to fall hook, line & sinker for the rabid insanity that the **ONLY** important thing that matters is "The Economy".
Every issue, every problem, every decision, every thought, every conversation, every single tiny little fucking thing in their tiny little minds is converted into The Economy.
They literally cannot think any other way. They literally cannot care about people anymore.
The blooming raspberries prompted me to bring the huge spinning daisies out of winter storage. They are happy to see the sun again after a long wet winter.
Hopefully, they will work as well, this year, at scaring the birds away from our crop.
