I think I understand why lawyers who work for Trump, some who were once pretty OK at their job get worse the more they work for him.
Can you imagine trying to explain a theory of the case to him?
We knew about this. They had to load the daily briefings at the white house with images and "news articles about him" or he'd get bored and ignore them.
Sitting through the trial is going to be painful for him. Trials do get very boring. And the court isn't set up around the connivence of defendants. You may well feel like furniture. Most wealthy powerful people are not accustomed to not having everything revolving around their attention and concerns. But many can at least fake attentiveness.
Or... what about taking the opportunity to learn about the criminal justice system? A wanna be president should be fascinated. Taking notes.
I recently went through jury selection (rejected!) and couldn’t help but notice how the defendant was just sort of trapped while we answered questions about things like how many of us watched true crime shows. I think this may be maddening for him in a way we have not yet seen.

i sincerely think he's dyslexic and has ADHD. he's from a generation of rich men who could easily fake their learning challenges with money to hire secretaries, assistants, accountants, etc. etc. never really had to write, only give dictation. have someone else write it out and all they have to do is sign it. 'tis why i think his 'degrees' are questionable. if he has paid for ghost writers all his life, he absolutely must have paid for one or several for his BA and questionable MBA.
