If he has $175 million in cash why did he need a bonding company at all?
#Trump: I put up $175 million in cash but she said the bonding company isn't good. She doesn't like the bonding company because she doesn't know if their collateral is good. I put up $175 million in cash and she is questioning the bonding company.

I like "million visitors", it seems sneaky somehow
Like we can't actually prove "we have had one million visitors" but million visitors? That's just some words we put together

A positive message for🌎#climate from the WH:
Pres Biden on Mon will celebrate Earth Day by announcing $7B in grants for residential solar projects that'll power nearly a million low-income HHs, the WH said.
The announcement kicks off a week of activities aimed at touting the Biden admin's record on #climatechange.
And Biden will announce that applications are open to join the American Climate Corps, a program to prepare young people for jobs in climate-related IDUs.

are there any #localelections candidates that you can get behind?
I've given up on the duocracy entirely. I used to believe some elected Progs might do something eventually, like vote as a block or invoke some obscure procedural crap, but time has shown them be little more* than a charismatic ploy to capture votes for Dems and prevent the rise of an actual opposition party.
*AOC did help secure coffin coupons for her constituents in 2020, so I can't say they do nothing. ⚰️

To be clear- this is absolutely vindictive and targeted towards her daughter, but maybe not in the way it seems. Apparently they weren't doing anything 'wrong' that the NYPD could arrest them for, until they were suspended - at which point they weren't students, so could be arrested for tresspassing.
I haven't been able to get any sort of real information chain on this, so by all means take it with a grain (or a shaker) of salt.
Fucking awful, regardless.
So what may be this 'new level of fury' of which they speak. tRumpasm? Donnymania? Assplosion? hmmm???
" #Trump hasn’t been taking to martyrdom very well behind the scenes, though, three sources with knowledge of the matter tell Rolling Stone," according to the exclusive report. "He has privately raged over everything from reports that he can’t stop dozing off, to how the court sketch artist is rendering him, to late-night talk show hosts joking about his legal troubles. The former president is reaching levels of fury over the judicial process and all it entails that are 'maxed out, even for him,' says one source who has had to personally endure Trump’s recent rantings about his #trial ."

in reply to Laffy • • •this whole thing makes sense when you just assume he is lying, broke, and actively selling whatever he can to stay out of prison.
I have read so many things, and heard from so many people and I will never understand why we suddenly decided THIS was the pivot point.

I've said it several times; the way to avoid all this nonsense is for the court to demand a monetary payment of the bond.
When I leased a commercial office, I had to deposit the bond money into a controlled account - the *landlord* had to sign off on any use of the funds. Not me. Not some intermediary.
